Dear Occupy Jackson

Clean this shit up.

This is the scene downtown residents were treated to all weekend at the Occupy Jackson commune.  An unsightly pile of crap left unattended on the sidewalk.  This is a far cry from the "clean as a whistle" image presented at the City Council meeting by the Occupy malcontents.

Occupy Jackson evidently thinks that its First Amendment right to complain that the World hasn't given them everything they want (with no effort from them), includes the right to make our community look like a Rankin County yard sale.  So, to Chelsea "Squeaky" McDonald, Professor of Hygeine James Parker and the rest of the shiftless Occupy Jackson crowd, we say clean this shit up.  Or, bettter yet, go pile this crap up on a sidewalk in Brandon (you know, where you live).

This is our community.  Please stop trashing it.

  1. CC, thank you for posting and informing. Imagine if the MSU or Ole Miss AA, the CCC, the Klan or another (God forbid) group was thumbing their collective noses at our ordinances.

    Our city is "officially" de-nutted.

    UN BE LIEV ABLE.

  3. Are they still out in the rain and cold... I figured those pansies would pack it in.

  4. Well they're still out there, just not in the rain and cold. Two hrs ago they were huddled under the pavilion around what appeared to be a portable heater.

  5. The roof of the Millsaps building could be converted and named
the "Benji Boyd International Heliport" .

On second thought - bad idea .

" The Chokeway-Stokes Skyboxx Multi Purpose Community Center and
    lounge" .

would provide more monthly income to the owner/manager .

  6. Occupy permit should require occupants or consider the event over.

  8. All the profits would be eaten up 6 months later when it had to be renamed the "Medgar Wiley Evers Chokeway Stokes Skyboxx Multipurpose Community Center and Lounge," at a cost of $100,000.

  9. How did this shit not get stolen overnight? I thought EVERYTHING in Jackson had to be nailed down. At least that's what my friends who live in Fondren tell me.

  10. You know, some of us Brandon folks actually work downtown, and WE don't act like that in OUR town either!

  11. Brandon folks are like hemeroids. If they come down and go back they are AOK, but if they come and stay, they are a pain in the ass.

  12. Who can one complain to about the sidewalk being cluttered with this stuff? What is in all those boxes? Surely the one or two occupiers at the pavillion don't need whatever is there on the sidewalk. It looks terrible. At least put it in the back of the big black truck that is usually parked there.
