Trash is Not a Race

Our focus at DJT is on the degenerates, thugs, reprobates and lowlife trash who have invaded downtown and threaten to destroy the good works of others.  Of course, this has brought about the predictable false claims of racism from certain people.

Those screaming the loudest about racism appear to be supporters of convicted killer Sean King, who owns the Locker Room.  DJT does not care that the murderous Mr. King is an African American.  It does cause DJT concern, however, that Mr. King's supporters cry racism when that obviously is not the case.

One must wonder if Mr. King's supporters can read and/or count.  DJT has reported on both black and white trash businesses that threaten our community.  In fact, there is one white business that got skewered in the comments section to a much worse extent than any black-owned business.

DJT is an equal opportunity enforcer.  We will report on any person who harms our quality of life regardless of race.  Don't believe it?  The numbers don't lie:

Total Posts:  22

Posts About White Businesses:     12 (55%)
Posts About Black Businesses:      3 (13%)
Posts Mentioning Both:                  3 (13%)
Race-Neutral Posts:                       4 (19%)

(percentages rounded).

Note:  We included the recent post about the Skybox in the list of "black businesses," even though the content of the post dealt with the deceitful behavior of Dirty White Boy (as the name implies, DWB is white).

55% of our posts have dealt with white businesses, and only 13% black.  Does that clear things up for you race-pimps out there?  DJT focuses on behavior, not race.

Also, you might want to consider that there are several black-owned businesses in our community that have not been discussed here.  The reason those businesses have not been mentioned is because the owners of those businesses are responsible partners in our community and we appreciate them.

Put the tired, weak ass race card away.  It won't work here.

  1. I want to know what exactly you are looking for in downtown night life you even want it all, and does your definition of downtown consist of just what lies on Capital Street or does it extend beyond to Farish and The Capital Green Project areas?

  2. I can't tell you exactly all of what is wanted by all the would be customers out there, but I can tell you what isn't wanted by most people, and definitely all reasonable people:

Gun shots in the air at 3 AM from patrons exiting bars - this happens; open use of marijuana in a certain establishment(s) - this happens; the use of illegal strippers - this happens; bars serving alcohol to minors and beyond legal operating hours - this happens; patrons of at least one establishment(s) breaking and entering into nearby businesses - this happens; businesses operating without the appropriate licenses - this happens; shootings of another person on the street after a bar has been open past legal operating hours - this happens.

If businesses will play by the rules, then with very few exceptions I don't think you will hear many complaints. Really that simple. This is not brain surgery.

  3. I got one: businesses that are not owned by convicted killers.

  4. Thats right sports fans----owner of the Locker Room Sean King is a convicted killer. Not allegedly--he did it and admitted he did it.

  5. Oh and I almost forgot there is another murder he was arrested for but not convicted--how many other felonies on Sean p-killer kings record.

  7. I the club that you referring to that has patrons leaving and shooting. Well let me say its been going on for years since 2003 or 2004 (thats when I started going out to clubs.) So that was before the downtown revitalization. I think its unfair to put the blame on the club owner or building owner for the actions of people outside of the club establishment. For example one night I went there to 105 which it was called at the time and I was a intern at a radio station so I just hung out in the dj booth. I saw fights people would get kicked out etc. They had off duty police officers as security so they were pretty efficient in keeping weapons out and such. Anyway one night I step out side to get some air and they security throws this guy out for fighting yadda yadda hes mad storms to his car and pulls out a gun fires in to the air then drives off. Now thats an example but I was always like "well thats Jackson" cause all of my life Jackson as a whole has crime. Now the strippers I havent heard of a spot that had illegal strippers before (I might have missed that post). The underage drinking thats goes on at ANY club that is 18 and up the only way to stop it is besides heavy carding at the door which works but it doesnt stop the guy in the club from getting the 20 year old girl a Smirnoff. The bartender doesnt know its dark he figures the guy just getting the drink. I dont think or would like tho think that these owners would not like to cater to "thugs" or underage patrons. With the licence thing I have seen law enforcement come and take out liquor of an establishment hell ive been djing while that happened *shrug* so if the proper licenses arent being acquired then you may need to look higher up or dig deeper to see whos letting them get away with it.

  21. What do Byron de la Beckwith, James Earl Ray, Edgar Ray Killen and Sean King have in common? They all liked killing black people.

  22. What I want to know is how are Sean King and his sow not in prison. How do Sean king and his sow have an alcohol license? Do Sean king and his sow have friends at jpd? Was the kidnapping of Sean king's sow a hoax because the heat was on? Makes sense cause Sean king always has same defense "I din do nuffins" "they racist."

  24. Sick of these fucks trying to change the subject. Is Sean king a convicted killer or not? Answer that.

    ReplyDelete
  25. YV, I was 4:56. Your lackadaisical attitude about the subject, at least at how your posts read, is exactly what makes the difference between the suburbs and the shit we live with here in the city with all of the apologists.

The shootings outside the club may have taken place before the current owners. Perhaps not 2003, but before. Guest what: I DON'T GIVE A SHIT. It is unacceptable. You don't get "grandfathered in" on this stuff. You can't say, "well it has always been that way." We didn't have residents back then. We do now. Wasn't okay then; isn't now but now there are people who live here to raise hell. And if you think we are going to put up with this shit for one second...I hate to break a code here, but normal people don't shoot guns in the air late at night, and it doesn't happen at normal clubs. Think that happens after Hal & Mal's closes down? 119?

All clubs don't sell to minors. Grow up.

I'm not digging deeper for jack on why certain places can operate without a license. Many of them have since been caught - after law enforcement being notified by citizens. That's should be the city's duty - and it continues to fail miserably. Citizens literally have to burn a proverbial damn street fire to get any action from the city about the non-law abiding citizens in our midst.

    People are fed-up.

You want to know what people want. People want classy establishments that follow the law, that's all. I don't know a person in the world downtown who cares if an establishment is black, white, both, whatever. For the life of me I don't know why that is being debated more than whether Al Gore actually invented the internet.

Instead of asking what people want, it would be pretty cool if you could pick up on the next consumer demand. It's there for something. People do know, however, what they don't want. And it ain't got shit to do with race.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Why do people downtown think it's cool to shoot guns in the air in the middle of night? Seriously...I'd really like to get a good nights sleep for once.

  30. ما الأموال التي تتحدث عنها

    ReplyDelete
  31. "All clubs don't sell to minors. Grow up."
    - Wasn't what he said. He said that underage kids will drink in clubs as long as the entry age is 18. And that is a fact.
"You want to know what people want. People want classy establishments that follow the law, that's all"
    - I agree that most all citizens want law abiding establishments...but not everyone wants classy establishments. That is what you want sir. Most big cities that people love to visit have a good mix of club types.

    * You are angry, I get it. There needs to be law and order (we agree). But this is not just your town. You are writing lengthy post that are a waste of time seeing as how they are not directed to the proper authorities.

    ReplyDelete
  32. "- Wasn't what he said. He said that underage kids will drink in clubs as long as the entry age is 18. And that is a fact."

This is a major issue as there are NO age entry levels in these clubs in Jackson. A 10 year old can enter. That is a fact.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Then put your money where your mouth is. Find a 10 year old and take them to a club after hours. See if entry is granted. See its easy to say DUMB things. Try saying something that does not revolve around that fact that this is just an issue Jackson Mississippi has. If you think that then I would urge you to travel my friend.

    ReplyDelete
  34. What's with all the Anonymous shyt tho! Lol... Nonetheless, for those who have the issue with a "criminal" owning a business, do you not believe in 2nd chances?? For those with a business, how many "criminals" do you have working for you?? Seems you'd be proud he's trying to run a legit business. You may not like whats going on in there, but you do know for SURE he's not coming through your window or stealing your radio! This is a common case of "Can't please everybody" ...Someone show me the perfect bus owner HERE in Jackson, please! Don't worry, I'll wait! Yea, it may get rowdy in various places..and for every club you name that's considered a problem via crowd or "criminal" owner, I'll name one of alleged squeaky clean politicians in the city, city counsel, in Downtown Jackson Partners, Doctors.... point -n- case... we're all phuked up in some form or another and YOU are not the judge of all, so sit back, shut the phuk up and enjoy the ride! Don't like what's going on around you, MOVE!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Truf, the DJT absolutely believes in second chances, but convicted killer Sean King is not working on his second chance.

Just how many "second" chances has your homicidal pal had? Well let's see:

    1994: Aggravated Assault
    1996: Possession of Cocaine
    1996: Murder
    1998: Sale of Cocaine
    2002: Possession of Cocaine
2002: Felon in Possession of a Firearm
    2002: Murder

That's a sample of the crimes for which convicted killer Sean King has either been arrested or convicted. Mr. King is what the law calls a "violent habitual offender." That means this ain't no first-time felon trying to make a life for himself.

With regard to your suggestion that if we "don't like what's going on around you, MOVE!," we must politely decline your suggestion. You see, that's how thugs and criminals take over an area. Law-abiding citizens move because they are scared. Do we seem scared to you?

    ReplyDelete
  36. Actually "TruF" (oh yeah that really distinguishes you as the brave one from the anonymous) not everyone is messed up. There are respectable citizens in this world that truly do strive to better themselves and this community. You, are one of the lost ones. You justify a wrong doing by stating "well these guys are wrong". Mindsets like yours are the reason that places fail.

  37. Commish... No pal of mine buddy! However, with all he's done, been through, seems like he finally getting his head right huh?!?! Opened a business, making legal money, employing a few people, paying taxes! What more do you want.....and if you're not going to move, keep complaining about things that will NOT make these businesses u so hate....

If they dquit bullshyttin' on Farish St - let the businesses open..stop tryning to pimp the business owners..stop trying to keep it UNurbanized..stop trying to call their friends to open a business so they can swap money, and get the street developed, would we be having this conversation? If we didn't have people deciding on the cities future who probably won't be HERE in the future, with real ideas, maybe things can change! If they wouldn't have went to just B-ham, and went to New Orleans, Memphis, Houston to see how this is REALLY done, maybe it would be better. Old people with old ideas won't make the city shine! You'll want this be a retirement state...period! think about this, how many people you think actually sit at home in other states and say, "I know where we should go for vacation, Jackson, MS!" WE HAVE NOTHING TO OFFER amusing that doesn't concern civil rights! Nonetheless, carry on...

12:59 .. mindsets like mine keep me from playing judge...Your honor!!! Opinions vs comments of who's wrong and right, who are you to say? You'd be amazed my friend...my mind goes far beyond this blog, and maybe even beyond your belief. This is no big deal to me bc until anything you people dislike, closes, nothing can be done to ease your mind!

    ReplyDelete
  46. 10:10 I know I would!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Hey "truf", would your comment be reference to an accident on Capitol street early Oct 14? If so, fuck you! Many people lost a great friend and Downtown lost a visionary. You can go to hell, you low life piece of shit. Oh, and while in hell, get some proper grammar and English lessons. When you look this ignorant while typing, I can only imagine what you sound like in person. The blog never made this a race thing, people like you made this a race thing. I must say, if you were more intelligent you would understand why some were racist. Shoe on the other foot, if some white kids started coming to a nice black neighborhood and breaking into cars, playing music into all hours of the night, and senselessly firing guns in the air and at each other, you think you would have a sour taste for the entire race? If, and let's hope you understand the question, you have anything between those diamond studded ears, your answer will be the same as mine. Take your violence and illegal clubs back to west Jackson and leave downtown alone so we can make it a nice place for people to go. More business that move into the neighborhood and get people down there with no fear of theft, or worse, it will be better for all Jackson residents. Hope this reaches you as educational, if not, have fun being a bottom-feeding, non-swimmer.
